Drive on while my windshield wipers fight
The bullets of rain on my window
Keeping me from where I'm trying to go.
I'll be blasting Goo Goo Dolls, and crying
Just like the sky, while trying
To find out if you will ever
Want to be my lover.
But maybe it's useless, you're
Set in your ways for sure.
I can't make you see
What appears before me.
If I could you'd see the perfect dream.
I'd be smiling with that gleam
That shines like it used to
When you were mine, boo.
I know there's nothing perfect for me to say,
Nothing I say will convince you to stay.
